Webmaster (developer, designer, creative Interactive strategist) for Fizzy Lizzy (fizzylizzy.com), for their website and customized ProStore.
Previosly I freelanced for various companies in Rhode Island/Boston. At Exnihilo, Providence RI, I was employed part-time as a web developer, assisting with Textron site dev and internal applications. Developed a Card Sorting
application for usability studies for website architecture planning. User's arranged cards (labeled with sections
of a website) into groups and heirarchies that made sense to them. Group results were analyzed using the Card Sort Analysis tool, finding patterns in users'
interactions and suggested site structures. (view demo)
Also with Exnihilo, a Search Terms pie chart, to view and
compare user-entered search queries - this chart lived on the live site, thus results were real-time.
Several years were spent with the Westin Providence hotel, in marketing and also as Webmaster. I was responsible for all aspects of the hotel website and
its in-house fitness center's website, both from scratch. Began with inquiring departments for information and concent suggestions, collecting marketing collateral,
taking photos, writing copy; then design and site architecture; developments and tracking; analysis of visitor statistics; on-going promotions and events. The Capital Club Fitness Center boasted a central location - thus a Google Maps mini-app showed the surrounding area and popular venues.

A personal project, Mobile Moods, was a J2ME mobile phone "mood regulator". It involved extensive research in color therapy and the affects of colors on human emotions. The mobile app. displayed 8 moods to choose
from, that which you would like to execute (Happy, Sleepy, Energetic, Calm, Confident, Awake).
Upon selection of a mode, varied meditation animations decorated the screen. User studies showed positive opinions about the app.Pong Cam is a projection-based pong variant. A web cam faces an empty wall, where 2 opponents face eachother waving their arm to move their respective paddle. (download).
I also spent 1 month in Darmstadt, Germany, working on an Interactive art installation called Art-e-Fact. The installation consited of a large screen with 3-D characters telling a story to the visitor(s). Visitors could interactive with
the characters and story via keyboard, hand motions, and props. My contribution on this project was writing a non-linear storyline on the topic of Greek Iconic paintings - and translating it into the XML-based language for that platform. With this same research company, I was developer and first author for the Interactive Aquarium kiosk, and presented at the TESI2005 conference in Maastricht, The Netherlands. The application was an interactive kiosk system for public aquaria. The system was personalizable - tailored to a visitors interests, educational level, and needs. Literature on aquaria visitors' behavior was conducted, as well as Personalization techniques, best practices, and limitations.
